Al Ittihad tabs Zain Mekraz

Al Ittihad Tripoli (D1) inked 30-year old 188cm point guard Zain Mekraz for upcoming season. Mekraz played most recently at Al Nasr. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also played in the Cup final. Great season indeed as he was awarded Afrobasket.com All-Libyan League Point Guard of the Year and voted to 2nd Team. The last summer he was tested by Al Gharafa in Qatari.
Mekraz has played previously for Ahly Benghazi.
