The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tripoli: Ahly Tripoli (#1) and Al Yarmook (#6). Ahly Tripoli (7-0) crushed visiting Al Yarmook (0-7) by 59 points 111-52. Undefeated Ahly Tripoli have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 7-0 record. Al Yarmook at the other side still closes the standings with seven games lost. Ahly Tripoli are looking forward to face league's second-placed Al Nasr in Benghazi in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Al Yarmook will play at home against Ahly Benghazi (#4) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
An exciting game was played in Almarj. Third ranked Al Nasr faced their biggest opponent Al Morog. Guests from Benghazi (4-3) defeated host Al Morog (4-3) 81-68. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with defeated Al Morog. Al Nasr will play against league's leader Ahly Tripoli on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Al Morog will play against Al Ittihad in Tripoli and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game in Tripoli was also quite interesting. 4th placed Ahly Benghazi (3-4) played at the court of fifth ranked Al Ittihad (3-4). Al Ittihad defeated Ahly Benghazi 85-69 on Friday. Al Ittihad moved-up to fourth place, which they share with defeated Ahly Benghazi. Al Ittihad will meet at home higher ranked Al Morog (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Ahly Benghazi will play against Al Yarmook in Tripoli and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
