Abdulwahad Yakubu (ex Gombe B.) joins Al Nasr

Defending champion Al Nasr Benghazi (D1) agreed terms with 29-year old Nigerian international shooting guard Abdulwahad Yakubu (199-85kg-90). He played last summer at Gombe Bulls in Nigerian DStv PBL.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Yakubu played in the final of Nigerian Premier League in 2017. He was selected to Nigerian Premier League All-Star Game in 2017.
Yakubu also represented Nigeria at the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast (Australia) last year. His stats at that event were 4 games: 2.0ppg.
Yakubu has played previously professionally in Nigeria (Comets, Kano Pillars, Bauchi Nets and Yelwa Hawks) and Libya (Jazeera).
