Al Nasr adds Thomas to their roster

Defending champion Al Nasr Benghazi (D1) added to their roster 32-year old Senegalese international forward Ibrahima Thomas (213-109kg-87, college: Cincinnati). He played last season at Hoops in Lebanese LBL league. In 16 games he recorded 12.4ppg, 9.1rpg, 1.2spg and 1.1bpg. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Honorable Mention.
The previous (2018) summer Thomas was tested by ES Rades (Division I) in Tunisian league. He helped them to win the league title and the cup.
Thomas also represented Senegal at the Afrobasket Championships in Abidjan (Ivory Coast) six years ago. His team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 7 games: 3.0ppg, 3.1rpg.
Thomas is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in six different countries. Thomas tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Africa and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Bahrain, Iran (Azad), Japan (Saitama Broncos), Qatar (Al Sadd), Saudi Arabia (Al Hilal and Al Ittihad) and Spain (Caceres Basket).
Thomas attended University of Cincinnati until 2012 and it will be his eighth season as a professional player.
