Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tripoli: Shabab (#5) and Al Yarmook (#4). Al Yarmook was smashed at home by 18 points 41-59 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Shabab maintains fifth position in Group A with 4-10 record. Al Yarmook at the other side keeps the fourth place with eight games lost.
Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Tripoli: Al Ittihad (#2) and Al Madina (#3). Al Ittihad (11-2) won against visiting Al Madina (6-7) 56-49. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Al Madina. Al Ittihad have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain second position in Group A with 11-2 record having just one point less than leader Ahly Tripoli. Al Madina at the other side keeps the third place with seven games lost.
Another interesting game was again a derby match of two local teams from Benghazi: Al Nasr (#1) and Al Tahaddi (#6). Al Tahaddi was smashed at home by 52 points 46-98 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Undefeated Al Nasr (14-0) have an impressive 14-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position in Group B with a perfect record of 14 victories in a row. Loser Al Tahaddi still closes the standings with 13 games lost. Al Nasr's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Benghazi Al Hilal.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Benghazi. Second ranked Morog faced 4th ranked Al Hilal. Guests from Almarj (11-3) smashed host Al Hilal (6-7) 87-64. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Al Hilal. Morog maintains second position in Group B with 11-3 record having just two point less than leader Ahly Tripoli. Al Hilal at the other side keeps the fourth place with seven games lost. Morog's next round opponent will be KBW (#5). Al Hilal's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Benghazi to the arena Al Nasr.

In the last game of round 14 In Group B KBW was crushed by Ahly Benghazi in a road game 92-59.

Al Yarmook - Shabab 41-59

There was no surprise when 5th ranked KBW (2-11) was crushed on the road by third ranked Ahly Benghazi (7-6) 92-59. Ahly Benghazi maintains third position in Group B with 7-6 record having three points less than leader Ahly Tripoli. KBW lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifth place with 11 games lost. Ahly Benghazi's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Benghazi to the arena Al Tahaddi.

Al Yarmook (D1) added to their roster 22-year old Serbian center Pavle Cvetinovic (215-110kg-97). He just played at Vllaznia in Albanian Superliga. Cvetinovic also played for Isa Town (Premier League) in Bahrain league where in two Superliga games he recorded 5.5ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.0spg and 1.5bpg this season. KENNY BROWN Al Morog (D1) landed 27-year old American guard Kenny Brown (188-91, college: Ferris State). He started the season at Al Wehda in Saudi Arabian SBL league. The most of last summer Brown spent at Fast Break (LPB) in Colombian league where in 14 games he averaged impressive 16.9ppg, 1.9rpg, 2.9apg and 1.2spg.
