Al Ittihad inks Josh Nofflet, ex Hefei

JOSH NOFFLET

Al Ittihad Tripoli (D1) signed 30-year old American swingman Josh Nofflet (194-90kg-88, college: Lee). He played last summer at Hefei in Chinese NBL league. In three games he had 8.7ppg and 2.0rpg. The last season Nofflet played at BC Odessa (Superleague) in league where in 16 games he recorded 9.3ppg, 3.8rpg and 2.4apg.
He has played also professionally in Finland (Forssan Koripojat, Porvoon Tarmo and Oulun NMKY), Germany (Topstar) and Slovakia (Levice).
Nofflet attended Lee University until 2011 and it will be his eighth season as a professional player.
He could be described: A good athlete and a smart player who turned into a true leader in his last year of college. Josh has the ability to play outside or inside and the able to guard many different positions. He can get to the basket at will and finish strong trhough contact. He's also a very good rebounder for his size.
