MARKO DUJKOVIC

Al Morog (D1) signed 28-year old FYR Macedonian ex-international center Marko Dujkovic (226-118kg-90). He is the second import player in the roster as USA Reed Mells signed here earlier.
Dujkovic is a dual citizen owning also Bosnia and Herzegovina passport. He started the season at Byblos Sporting Club in Lebanese LBL league. In three games he had 5.0ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.0apg this season. The last summer Dujkovic played at Beijing Bucks (NBL) in Chinese league where in two games he recorded 11.5ppg, 9.5rpg and 2.0apg.
Dujkovic also represented FYR Macedonia at the Qualifications to European Championships 2017 three years ago. His stats at that event were 6 games: 3.0ppg, 1.3rpg.
Dujkovic is quite experienced player. He has played in six different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). Dujkovic has played previously professionally in Georgia (Olimpi), Qatar (Al Rayyan), Saudi Arabia (Al Ittihad), Serbia (BKK Radnicki, Metalac and Superfund BP), Czech Republic (BK Kolin) and FYR Macedonia (Blokotehna).
He could be described: Marko is a giant fellow, master of the paint. Dunks, rebounds and blocks all the time. Even though he is 226cm tall he can run fast in transitions. He makes good screens and he plays pick'n'roll really nice. Guards and Forwards avoid penetration to the paint while he is around. Every team should have a player like Marko.

D1 Round 14: Shabab beats Al Yarmook in a derby game - 4 days ago
Here is the last round review presented by ESL. The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tripoli: Shabab (#5) and Al Yarmook (#4). Al Yarmook was smashed at home by 18 points 41-59 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Shabab maintains fifth position in Group A with 4-10 record. Al Yarmook at the other side keeps the fourth place with eight games lost. Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Tripoli: Al...   [read more]
