Ahly Tripoli signs Todd O'Brien

Al Ahly Tripoli (D1) signed 29-year old American (has also Armenian passport) center Todd O'Brien (211-110kg-89, college: UAB). He joins another USA player Gerel Simmons which is already in the roster.
O'Brien played last season at Al Gharafa in Qatari D1 league. He also played for Al Naser in UAE that season. He helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team.
O'Brien is quite experienced player. He has played in seven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). O'Brien has played previously professionally also in France (Nantes), Japan, Latvia (Ventspils and Jekabpils), Lebanon (Sagesse), Poland (MKS Dabrowa Gornicza) and Russia (Urartu Yerevan).
He attended University of Alabama at Birmingham until 2012 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player.
