Egypt defeat Libya in FIBA Basketball African Championship - Aug 27, 2018

Egypt's national basketball team achieved a 115-38 victory on their Libyan counterpart in FIBA Under-18 Basketball African Championship, Bamako 2018, currently held in Mali. Egypt is on the tournament's Group A which includes as well Mali, Libya, Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Guinea. A match between Egypt and Guinea is set to be played today.

DEVIN MARTIN Al Alhy Benghazi (D1) added to their roster 27-year old American guard Devin Martin (193-93kg-92, college: Md-E Shore). He joins another USA player John Merchant which is already in the roster. Martin started the season at Osorno Basquetbol in Chilean Liga Nacional. BRANDIS RALEY-ROSS Al Ittihad Tripoli (D1) agreed terms with 31-year old American guard Brandis Raley-Ross (191-92kg-87, college: S.Carolina) after he was tested there shortly. He played recently at Cibona in Croatian Premijer Liga, but left. In 11 games he had 9.4ppg, 3.3rpg, 1.6apg and 1.1spg this season.
