Zain Mekraz
The most exciting game of round four in the Libyan D1 League. This derby game between two local teams from Benghazi ended with only seven-point difference Al Alhy Benghazi (3-1) with their new Serbian coach Radenco Orlovic was defeated at home (50-43 )against first ranked Al Nasr Benghazi (4-0) and even the advantage of their own court did not help.
the game from the first minute was so hard for the players to get score because the coaches was choose full court Pressing defense the best player for the losers was Zain Mekraz ( (188-PG-91) who score 13 point, 5 rebound with 3 assist and 2 steals , but the winners was have the best players in the match Yahya Alshkmak (200-C-85) who score 13 point ,12 rebound and 5 blocks with double double result .
Al Nasr Benghazi keep a position of league leader, which they was share with Al Alhy Benghazi . Al Morog at the other side keeps the third place with 2 games win and 2 lost. Al Hilal will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game against Al Tahaddi Benghazi.

D1 Round 14: Shabab beats Al Yarmook in a derby game - 10 days ago
Here is the last round review presented by ESL. The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tripoli: Shabab (#5) and Al Yarmook (#4). Al Yarmook was smashed at home by 18 points 41-59 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Shabab maintains fifth position in Group A with 4-10 record. Al Yarmook at the other side keeps the fourth place with eight games lost. Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Tripoli: Al...   [read more]
