The most surprising game was the first loss of Yarmook (1-1) at the home court on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by top-ranked Ahly Tripoli (1-0) 75-66. It was the only win of guest team this round and in all other games host teams recorded victories. Ahly Tripoli left bottom position moving up to fourth place, which they share with Ittihad. Yarmook at the other side keeps the fifth position with one game lost. They share it with Al Murooj and Kaled BA. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked An Naser (2-2) against top-ranked Ittihad (1-0) on Monday night. Visiting An Naser was crushed by Ittihad in Tripoli 102-33. It was the only win of host team this round and in all other games visitors recorded victories. Ittihad left bottom position moving up to fourth place, which they share with Ahly Tripoli. Newly promoted An Naser keeps the third position with two games lost. Ittihad will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. An Naser will play against Kaled BA and hopes to get back on the winning track.
