Liberia U16 - Egypt U16 61-74

Egypt U16 continued their strong AfroBasket 2025 run with a 74-61 victory over Liberia U16. The Egyptians established early control, edging the first quarter 16-13 and extending their lead with a 13-9 second period to take a 29-22 advantage into halftime. After the break, Egypt maintained their momentum with a 20-18 third quarter before sealing the win in the final frame, outscoring Liberia 25-21. Despite Liberia’s late push, Egypt’s consistency across all quarters proved too much, as they secured a comfortable 13-point win.
Karim Hendy (192-G-2009) led the way with 14 points and Omar Khataby (197-F-2009) had 12. David Evans ended up with 15 points in a loss.
