Fos-Provence tabs Lasan Kromah

Lasan Kromah

Newly promoted FOS Provence Basket (Jeep ELITE ProA) inked 30-year old American (has also Liberian passport) 198cm shooting guard Lasan Kromah, college: UConn for upcoming season. Kromah played most recently at Cholet Basket (Jeep ELITE ProA). In 32 games he averaged 13.5ppg, 2.7rpg, 1.9apg and 1.5spg last season. Good year as he was voted League Player of the Week. He also played 6 games in Basketball Champions League where he had 11.3ppg, 1.3rpg, 1.8apg and 1.8spg.
The previous (19-20) season he played at Kolossos in Greek A1. In 20 games he recorded very impressive stats: 15.7ppg, 4.0rpg, 2.2apg and 1.1spg. A very good season in his career as he was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Greek A1 Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week.
In 2016 (two years after he left the college) he was drafted by Westchester Knicks (D-League) in third round (60th overall).
The former University of Connecticut star is in his eighth season in pro basketball.
Kromah has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2014.
He is a very experienced player. Kromah has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to six different countries on three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Australia (United), Hungary (Kormend), Romania (Cluj Napoca), Turkey (Konyaspor), France (SPO Rouen and Boulazac Basket) and Greece (Enosi Kavalas and Promitheas).
Kromah won NCAA championship title in 2014.
