Othello Hunter (ex Maccabi T-A) may be added to Bayern roster

FC Bayern Muenchen (BBL) is close to ink experienced 35-year old American (has also Liberian passport) 203cm center Othello Hunter, college: Ohio State, agency: David Lee Services for upcoming season who played last time at Maccabi Playtika Tel-Aviv in Israel. In 21 Winner League games he recorded 9.0ppg and 5.2rpg last season. Hunter helped them to win the league title and the cup. Great season indeed as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Israeli League Honorable Mention. He also played 27 games in Euroleague where he averaged 8.0ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.0apg.
In 2008 Pittsburgh Xplosion selected him as third overall pick in CBA draft.
He attended Ohio State and it may be his 14th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Hunter has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2012.
He is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in China, Greece (Olympiacos and Ilysiakos), Italy, Russia (CSKA Moscow), Spain (Real Madrid and Valladolid), Ukraine (Mariupol) and NBA (Atlanta Hawks).
Among many awards he was voted Eurobasket.com All-VTB League Center of the Year in 2019.
