Hunter re-signs at Maccabi Fox Tel-Aviv

Maccabi Fox Tel-Aviv (Winner League) confirmed in their roster experienced 34-year old American (has also Liberian passport) center Othello Hunter (203-102kg-86, college: Ohio State, agency: David Lee Services). He played there last season. In 24 Winner League games he had 10.5ppg, 6.7rpg and 1.8apg. Hunter helped them to win the league title. He also played 27 games in Euroleague where he recorded 10.3ppg, 6.5rpg and 1.3apg.
The previous (18-19) season Hunter played at CSKA Moscow in Russian league. In 36 Euroleague games he averaged 7.7ppg and 4.3rpg. He contributed to his team winning the Euroleague championship (in both Euroleague and VTB United League !!!). Hunter also played 28 games in VTB United League where he got 9.5ppg and 4.2rpg. He contributed to his team winning the VTB United League championship.
In 2008 Hunter was drafted by Pittsburgh Xplosion (CBA) as #3 pick overall.
The former Ohio State star is in his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball.
Hunter has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2012.
Hunter is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in China, Greece (Olympiacos and Ilysiakos), Italy, Spain (Real Madrid and Valladolid), Ukraine (Mariupol) and NBA (Atlanta Hawks).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted Eurobasket.com All-VTB League Center of the Year in 2019.
