Othello Hunter (ex Real Madrid) may be added to CSKA Moscow roster

Defending champion CSKA Moscow (VTB) is in talks to sign 31-year old American (has also Liberian passport) power forward Othello Hunter (203-102kg-86, college: Ohio State, agency: David Lee Services) who played last time at Real Madrid in Spain. In 39 Liga Endesa games he averaged 6.2ppg and 3.9rpg last season. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. Hunter also played 35 games in Euroleague where he had 7.6ppg and 4.5rpg. He contributed to his team making it to the Euroleague Final Four.
The previous (15-16) season Hunter played at Olympiacos in Greek A1. In 31 games he recorded 8.2ppg, 5.8rpg and 1.0spg. A very good season in his career as he was selected to Eurobasket.com Greek A1 League All-Imports Team. Hunter also played 22 games in Euroleague where he got 9.4ppg and 6.0rpg.
In 2008 Pittsburgh Xplosion selected him as third overall pick in CBA draft.
The former Ohio State staris in his tenth season in pro basketball.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2012.
Hunter won Greek League championship title in 2015.
He is a very experienced player. Hunter has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to seven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). Hunter has played previously professionally in China (Golden Stars and Monkey Kings), Italy (Banco di Srd and Mens Sana 1871 Siena), Ukraine (Azovmash), NBA (Atlanta Hawks), Greece (Ilysiakos) and D-League (Springfield A.).
His game is described as: A very good rebounder and scorer, has good post moves and can spend time in the classic center position, with shoulders to the basket. Has yet upside, some expect him to turn NBA material very soon.
