Al Fatat (D1) signed 31-year-old American 197cm center Alexus Johnson (college: Texas Southern). She last played for Kenya Ports Authority in the Kenyan Premier League.

In 6 African Women Basketball League games, she averaged an impressive 15.2ppg, 9.7rpg, 3.7apg, and 1.0spg last season. Johnson also played for Colegio Los Leones Quilpe in the Chilean league, where she had remarkable stats in 12 games: 16.1ppg, 10.3rpg, 4.1apg, and 3.8spg. She was voted League Player of the Week twice, League Player of the Week, and selected to Latinbasket.com All-Chilean Liga Femenina Clausura Second Team.

She is a very experienced player. Thanks to pro basketball, she experienced life in six different countries playing on three different continents. Johnson is familiar with European, Latin American, and North American leagues. She has played professionally in Chile (CD Esc. Alemana Paillaco), France (Limoges, D'Ifs, and Feytiat), Luxembourg (Grengewald), Mexico (Adelitas and Lobas), Spain (Joventut and Barakaldo), and Bolivia (Universidad San Simon and Carl A-Z Oruro). Johnson won the Luxembourg League championship title in 2025 and the cup in 2025. She was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Luxembourg League All-Defensive Team in 2025.

Johnson graduated from Texas Southern University in 2015 and will be entering her eleventh season in pro basketball.
