Thunder inks Uchenna Iroegbu- October 7, 2024
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Seydou Legacy Athletique Club Conakry (D1) in Guinean league. Iroegbu also represented Nigeria at the FIBA World Cup 2023 African Qualifiers last year. During this event he scored an average of 9.6 points per game and had 2.2 rebounds per game. He is quite experienced player. Iroegbu has played in four different countries on three different continents (Europe, Africa and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Spain (La Roda), NBA G League (College Park SkyHawks and Stockton Kings) and Nigeria (Rivers Hoopers). Iroegbu played in the final of Qatari League in 2023. He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league on the market. Iroegbu graduated from Stony Brook University in 2018 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player. He played also for College of Southern Idaho for 2 years.
