Kenya Ports Authority adds Pierre for the 2023 FIBA Africa Women's Basketball League

Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) has signed Dyana Pierre, a 30-year-old American power forward who also holds a Haitian passport for the 2023 FIBA Africa Women's Basketball League


Pierre, standing at 185cm and born in 1993, played college basketball at Toronto and is represented by Areus Sports agency. She most recently played for Barakaldo in the Spanish LF2 league.

She is a highly experienced player, having played professionally in Finland, France (Nice and Saint Gratien), Spain, and Sweden.
The list of past achievements is extensive. Her team reached the Swedish Damligan Semifinals in 2017. In 2019, she was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-Mediterranean Cup Honorable Mention.

She graduated from MCC Toronto Basket in 2019, and this will be her fifth season as a professional player.
