The defending champion Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) in the Premier League has acquired Luqman Lundy, a 27-year-old American point guard who stands at 190cm tall. Lundy, who played college basketball at Bradley University, most recently played for KK Radnicki Gorazde in the Bosnia and Herzegovina A1 Liga FBIH South.
His college team won the MVC Tournament in 2019.
He had previously attended one of the camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to professional basketball.
He graduated from Bradley University in 2019, and this upcoming season will mark his fifth in professional basketball. Prior to that, he also played for Northern Oklahoma College Tonkawa for two years.
Let's take a closer look at his outlook.
This combo guard is extremely versatile and possesses excellent leadership skills and a high energy level. They are capable of guarding positions 1 through 3 and are coachable with a strong work ethic. They consistently make winning plays and excel at slashing to the basket, both for themselves and their teammates. They are also proficient at hitting mid-range pull-up shots and spot-up threes, although their consistency from beyond the arc could use improvement.
