Dynamo opened Group C campaign with the win over KPA. The team from Burundi posted a 75-63 win in Dar es Salaam.
Dynamo started with a 17-13 run and added a massive 24-13 surge in the second frame. Dynamo managed to win the third quarter 28-16, whilst KPA replied with a 21-6 surge in the last stanza. David Kongor notched 15 and Bienvenu Ndikuriyo (186-G-1997) scored 13. Tyronne Jordan replied with 22 points in the losing effort.
