The Toronto Raptors released 27-year-old double-passport holder Ivorian center Mohamed Bamba (7'0''-249lbs-1998, college: Texas). However, in two NBA games, he did not score anything and had only 2 rebounds and 1 block. He also played for the Stars earlier that season.
In 2018, he was drafted by the Orlando Magic in the first round (6th overall). He attended the University of Texas, and it is his eighth season in pro basketball.
Bamba has played for five other NBA teams: New Orleans Pelicans, LA Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers, San Diego Clippers, and Birmingham Squadron.
Among many awards, his team made it to the NBA Semifinals in 2023. He was voted to the Big 12 All-Defensive Team back in 2018 during his college time.
