JCA Abidjan adds Bridgeforth to their roster

Defending champion JCA Abidjan (National 1) added 31-year-old American center Brian Bridgeforth (208cm-86kg-1994, college: WAU) to their roster. He played last season at Frederick Flying Cows (TBL) in the U.S. In three games recently, he recorded only 2.7ppg and 1.7rpg. He also played for Panteras de Miranda (SPB) in the Venezuelan league.
Bridgeforth is a highly experienced player. Thanks to Bridgeforth's pro career, he managed to play on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa, and North America) in seventeen different countries. He has played professionally in Bahrain (Al-Ittihad and Al-Najma), Belize (Western Ballaz), Iraq (Al Kahraba and Zakho), Kuwait (Sulaibikhat), Lebanon (Homentmen), Morocco (MAS Fez), Oman (Al Bashaer), South Africa (Tigers), Sweden (Uppsala), Venezuela, Mali (Stade), Libya (Al Hilal and Al Morog), Palestine (Ibdae), Canada (Windsor Express), TTBL (Harford B.), The Basketball Tournament (DC Funkhouse P.), and TBL (Harford B. and Wichita SK). Bridgeforth was also voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Iraqi League Honorable Mention in 2025.
His team reached the BAL Semifinals in 2024.
He graduated from Washington Adventist University in 2017 and it will be his ninth season as a professional player. Bridgeforth played also for Seward County Community College for one year.
