Saint Vallier sign Amadou Sidibe

Amadou Sidibe

Saint Vallier Basket Drome (NM1) signed 31-year-old American (who also has an Ivorian passport) 203cm power forward Amadou Sidibe (college: Fairfield, agency: Players Group) for the upcoming season. He will be joining fellow American player Tervell Beck on the team. Sidibe most recently played for Pau-Lacq-Orthez in the ProB, where he averaged 4.9ppg, 3.8rpg, and 1.1apg in 32 games last season. NM1 will provide a better opportunity for him to showcase his skills and get more playing time. In the 2023-24 season, he played for Sopron KC in the Hungarian league and previously for s Oliver Baskets in the German league.
He represented Ivory Coast at the FIBA Olympic Games Qualifying Tournament in San Juan (Puerto Rico) last year. During this event, he scored an average of 3 ppg and had 1 rpg.
Sidibe is a very experienced player. He has traveled between six different countries on three different continents during his pro career. Sidibe has played professionally in Argentina (Penarol), Germany, Hungary, Portugal (Lusitania), Spain (Melilla, Alicante and Lleida) and France (Tours and ALM Evreux).
He has won many awards during his career, including playing in the final of the Spanish LEB Silver Play-Off in 2018. In 2021, he was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-French ProB Honorable Mention team.
Sidibe graduated from Fairfield University in 2017 and it'll be his ninth season in pro basketball.
