Ivory Coast - Senegal 60-66

Senegal upset the hosts at the AfroBasket 2025. They overcame Senegal 66-60 and reached 2026 Women's World Cup qualifying tournaments. Senegal will play against Nigeria in the semifinal, whilst Ivory Coast will take on Cameroon in the game for the 5-8 places. Senegal needed a strong second half with a massive 24-17 surge in the last period to seal the win.
Cierra Dillard (176-G-1996, college: Buffalo, agency: LBM Management) top-scored for the winners with 16 points and Yacine Diop (178-G/F-1995, college: Louisville) netted 13. Kariata Diaby (193-C-1995) collected 14 points and 12 rebounds in a loss, whilst Amma Ouraga (189-F-1999) poured in 13.
