Birmingham Squadron landed 26-year old double-passport holder Ivorian 7-0 center Mohamed Bamba (college: Texas). He started the season at LA Clippers in the NBA. In 28 games he averaged 4.6ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.0bpg. The last season season he played at another NBA team the 76ers.
In 2018 he was drafted by Orlando Magic (NBA) in first round (6th overall). The former University of Texas star is in his seventh season in pro basketball.
He represented USA at the FIBA Americas Championship U18 in Valdivia (Chile) nine years ago. Bamba's team won Gold and he had 7 points per game.
Bamba has played previously for LA Lakers.
Among many awards Bamba's team made it to the NBA G League Semifinals in 2019. He was voted to Big 12 All-Defensive Team back in 2018 at his college time.
