Maroussi B.C. (GBL) added to their roster 27-year old American (has also Ivorian passport) power forward Ismael Sanogo (203cm-95kg-1996, college: Seton Hall) for new 2024-25 season. Sanogo has played for the last two years at Aris in the GBL. In 26 games he recorded 6.3ppg, 5.2rpg and 1.1spg last season. He helped them to make it to the Greek Cup Semifinals. Sanogo also played 14 games in Eurocup where he averaged 6.3ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.2spg.
He has played previously professionally in Italy (Cremona) and NBA G League (Long Island Nets).
His team made it to the Big East Tournament Semifinals in 2017.
Sanogo graduated from Seton Hall University in 2018 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player.
