Fatou Diakite commits to S.Florida

Fatou Diakite

The University of South Florida signed Ivorian forward Fatou Diakite (6'3'') for the upcoming 2024-25 season. The Abidjan native moved from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she spent her freshman year. In 28 games in the USA, she averaged just 2.4ppg and 3.1rpg last season.
During Diakite's high school career, she attended Niagara Prep in Niagara Falls, ON, where she graduated in 2023. She was selected for the BAL Select Team for GLOBL JAM U23 Showcase in Toronto, Canada in 2023.
