Odilo FC Cartagena CB (LEB Silver) has strengthened their roster by adding Seydou Aboubacar, a 29-year-old Nigerien-Ivorian center who stands at 207cm. Aboubacar is the second foreign player to join the team, with USA's Onyinyechi Eyisi signing earlier. Aboubacar began the season with Castello in the LEB Gold, where he averaged 3.3ppg and 1.8rpg in four games. Moving to LEB Silver will provide him with a better match and more playing time. Last season, Aboubacar played for Club Ourense Baloncesto, another Spanish team in the LEB Gold.
He represented Niger at the FIBA World Cup 2023 African Qualifiers last year, where his stats were as follows: 2 games played, averaging 3.5 points per game and 4.0 rpg.
