Sopron KC signs Amadou Sidibe

Amadou Sidibe

Sopron KC (A Division) signed 29-year old American (has also Ivorian passport) power forward Amadou Sidibe (203cm-102kg-1994, college: Fairfield, agency: Players Group). He already started the season at s.Oliver Wuerzburg in German BBL league. In four games he had just 2.5ppg and 2.8rpg. The last season he played at ICG Forca Lleida (LEB Gold) in Spanish league. He also played for Penarol (La Liga) in Argentinian league.
He is quite experienced player. He has played in five different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Argentina, France (Tours and ALM Evreux), Portugal (Lusitania) and Spain (Melilla and Alicante).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he played in the final of Spanish LEB Silver Play-Off in 2018. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-French ProB Honorable Mention in 2021.
He graduated from Fairfield University in 2017 and it is his seventh season as a professional player.
