Bangui keep Basketball Africa League dream alive as they advanced to the West Division Elite 16 Semifinals. The team from Central African Republic edged ABC 83-70 in the last game of Group B.
Yasser Kamayengue (180-G-2005) was 3-for-5 from behind the arc to finish with a game-high of 24 points off the bench. The 18-year-old Kamayengue was mobbed by teammates and praised by some opponents. Rolly Nganga notched 15 and Evans Ganapamo (201-F-1994, college: PVAMU) delivered 14. Kinsley Edosomwan replied with 15 points and 14 rebounds in defeat.
