Philadelphia 76ers agreed terms with 25-year old naturalized Ivorian center Mohamed Bamba (6'11''-249lbs-1998, college: Texas) for new 2023-24 season. Bamba played last season at LA Lakers. In 12 NBA games he had just 2.8ppg and 3.7rpg. He helped them to make it to the conference final. Bamba also played for the Magic where in 40 NBA games he recorded 7.3ppg, 4.6rpg and 1.1apg.
In 2018 he was drafted by Orlando Magic in first round (6th overall). He attended University of Texas and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.
Bamba represented USA at the FIBA Americas Championship U18 in Valdivia (Chile) seven years ago. Bamba's team won Gold and his stats at that event were 5 games: 7.0ppg, 6.6rpg, 1.2bpg, FGP: 50.0%, FT: 73.3%.
