Nigeria - Cote d'Ivoire 72-63

Nigeria topped already-qualified Cote d'Ivoire in 2023 World Cup Qualifiers Group E in Luanda tonight. Victor Ezeh (193-F/G-2003) stepped up with 18 points to lead the winners.
Nigeria snatched a 16-15 lead ten minutes into the game. Cote d'Ivoire responded with a 19-14 run in the second term to gain a 34-30 halftime advantage. But Nigeria took over in the second half. They ignited a 23-14 rally in the third term to spur ahead. Nigeria held their opponents to just 15 points in the fourth stanza and marched the fourth victory at the end. Israel Otobo (2004) delivered 13 points for the winning side. Jean-Philippe Dally (200-F/G-1996) answered with 19 points for Cote d'Ivoire. Vafessa Fofana (198-F/G-1992) knocked down 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the loss.
