Nantes welcome back Kouyate

Kany Kouyate

Nantes Reze Basket (LFB) landed 31-year old Ivorian 178cm swingman Kany Kouyate for upcoming season. Kouyate is the second foreigner player in the roster as USA Emma Guy signed here earlier.
It is actually her comeback to Nantes Reze as she has played here before. She has played for the last four years at Basket Club Saint Paul Reze in the LF2. In 12 ProB games she averaged 6.3ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.2spg last season.
Kouyate represented Ivory Coast at the African Championships in Maputo (Mozambique) eight years ago. Her stats at that event were 8 games: Score-3 (14.9ppg), 4.6rpg, 2.5apg, 2.9spg, FGP: 59.6%, 3PT: 31.6%, FT: 70.3%.
She has played also professionally in Ivory Coast (Club Sportif D'Abidjan).
Among many awards she won Ivory Coast National 1A championship title in 2012. Kouyate was voted to Eurobasket.com All-French LF2 Honorable Mentionfor three consecutive years between 2018 and 2020.
