Diaby re-signs at Villeneuve

Kariata Diaby

Villeneuve D'Ascq ESB Lille Metropole (LFB) confirmed in their roster 24-year old Ivorian center Kariata Diaby (192-95). She played there last season.
The previous (18-19) season Diaby played at Bretagne (French LFB) where in 25 games she was the best scorer with impressive 16.2ppg and averaged 7.0rpg (#3 in the league) and 1.2apg. A very impressive season as she was named to Eurobasket.com All-French LFB 2nd Team and All-Imports Team.
She represented Ivory Coast at the African Championships in Maputo (Mozambique) seven years ago. Her stats at that event were 8 games: 4.5ppg, 2.8rpg, 2.8spg.
Diaby has played previously professionally in France (Etoile de Voiron and Charnay) and Ivory Coast (Abidijan Basketball Club).
