   #1. This week's number one is former international center Cedric Bah (198-94, currently plays in France). He was the major contributor in Souffelweyersheim's victory against the 13th-ranked Recy Saint-Martin (7-19) 71-55 in the French NM1 (third division) in Saturday night's game. Bah scored 11 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 25 minutes on the court. BC Souffelweyersheim (24-2) is placed first in Group A. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. The Regular Season already ended. It's Bah's first season with the team. This year he averages: 9.8ppg, 5.8rpg, 1.5apg, 1.4bpg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 48.6%, 3FGP: 23.5% and FT: 78.6% in 26 games he played so far. Bah played for the Ivorian senior national team two years ago.

He could not help one of league's weakest teams Sluc Nancy (15-6) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Diabate's good performance Sluc Nancy was defeated 82-71 on the road by the second-ranked Entente Orleans 45. He was the second best scorer with 10 points. Diabate also added 5 assists. Diabate's overall stats this season are: 8.0ppg, 1.2rpg, 4.0apg, 1.2spg, 2FGP: 43.5%, 3FGP: 26.5% and FT: 83.3%. He is in the roster of the Ivorian senior national team.

   #3. The Ivorian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international center Aboubacar Aboubacar Hima (207-94, currently plays in Spain). Aboubacar Hima was not able to help Carramimbre in their game against Palencia Baloncesto (16-9) in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division). He recorded 9 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 16 minutes. But Carramimbre lost 76-80 on the opponent's court to the higher-ranked (#6) Palencia_Baloncesto. This year Aboubacar Hima's overall stats are: 4.4ppg, 4.6rpg, 2FGP: 50.6% and FT: 56.9% in 25 games. He played for the Ivorian national team two years ago.

   #4. Swingman Charles Abouo (196-89, college: BYU, currently plays in France) was not able to secure a victory for ADA Blois (10-10) in their last game on Friday. Despite Abouo's good performance ADA Blois was badly defeated 71-54 on the opponent's court by the much lower-ranked Caen (#16). He was the top scorer with 12 points. Abouo also added 7 rebounds. Abouo's total stats this season are: 8.5ppg, 3.9rpg and 1.9apg. He has a dual citizenship: Ivorian and American. Abouo is also Ivorian national team player.

International swingman Vafessa Fofana (198-92, currently plays in France) led Nantes to a victory against the closely-ranked Gries/Oberhoffen (12-9) 88-78 in the French ProB (second division) last Friday. He scored 17 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 33 minutes. Hermine Nantes Atlantique (11-10) is placed eighth in the ProB. This year Fofana's total stats are: 9.7ppg, 5.0rpg, 3.0apg and 1.2spg in 21 games. He plays currently for the Ivorian national team.

Forward Tiegbe Bamba (204-91, college: Portland St., currently plays in France) led C'Chartres to a victory over the 12th-ranked Lille Metropole (9-12) 85-77 in the French ProB (second division) on Saturday night. Bamba was MVP of the game. He scored 22 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Chartres Basket Masculins (10-7) is placed fifth in the ProB. Bamba has relatively good stats this season: 13.7ppg, 5.0rpg and 2.0apg. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Ivorian National Team roster.

   #7. Former international forward Moussa Kone (203-93, college: Hofstra, currently plays in Spain) faced previously mentioned Aboubacar Aboubacar Hima in the Spanish LEB Gold last game. Kone contributed to a Palencia Baloncesto's victory against the closely-ranked Carramimbre (14-11) 80-76. He had a double-double by scoring 10 points and getting the same number of rebounds in 24 minutes. Kone has averaged so far 6.0ppg and 5.0rpg in 25 games. He is another player who holds two passports: Ivorian and American. Kone used to play for the Ivorian national team four years ago.

   #8. An experienced center Mohamed Kone (211-81, college: Valparaiso, currently plays in France) couldn't help JA Vichy (14-7) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Kone's good performance JA Vichy was defeated 87-76 in Quimper by the much lower-ranked UJAP (#14). He scored 14 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Kone has averaged so far 8.0ppg, 8.9rpg and 1.2spg. He plays currently for the Ivorian national team.

   #9. International point guard Jean-Francois Kebe (185-94, currently plays in France) couldn't help Saint-Quentin (24-2) in their game against ALS Basket (8-18) in the French NM1 (third division). Kebe cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. He scored only 2 points and added 5 passes in 15 minutes. The second-placed Saint-Quentin (24-2) was badly defeated 77-60 at home by the much lower-ranked (#12) ALS Basket in the Group A. They ended the series of thirteen consecutive victories. The Regular Season already ended. Kebe has averaged so far 6.2ppg, 1.8rpg and 2.7apg in 25 games. He is also in the roster of the Ivorian national team.

Swingman Guy Landry Edi (202-88, college: Gonzaga, currently plays in France) managed to help Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket to win against the closely-ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (14-7) 88-78 in the French Jeep ELITE ProA on Friday night. Edi recorded only 3 points. Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket (15-7) is placed fourth in the Jeep ELITE ProA. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Edi has averaged so far 3.0ppg and 1.5rpg. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Ivorian National Team roster.

   #11. International center Adjehi Baru (206-91, agency: Duran International, college: Charleston, currently plays in Spain) couldn't help Leyma Basquet in their game against Ourense in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division). Baru recorded only 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 18 minutes. It was his first game for Leyma Basquet this season. His team lost 63-78. Baru plays currently for the Ivorian national team.

   #12. International center Bali Coulibaly (199-95, currently plays in France) helped La Rochelle win their game against the 14th-ranked CFBB crushing them 83-60 in the French NM1 (third division) last Saturday. He scored 10 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Coulibaly has averaged so far 9.9ppg and 4.0rpg. He is also in the roster of the Ivorian national team.

   #13. International point guard Bryan Pamba-Juille (184-92, currently plays in France) faced previously mentioned Charles Abouo in the French ProB last game. Pamba-Juille helped Caen win their game against the ninth-ranked ADA Blois 71-54. He scored only 3 points. Pamba-Juille has averaged so far 6.7ppg, 2.0rpg and 2.3apg. He is also Ivorian national team player.


The list of other players, who all have Ivorian passport but never been selected to any of Ivorian national teams:

   #1. Jonas Zohore (208-C-91, currently plays in Hungary) could not help TF Budapest (2-19) in their last game on Friday. Despite his good performance the bottom-ranked TF Budapest was defeated 78-68 at home by the much higher-ranked KTE-Duna (#7). Zohore recorded a double-double by scoring 11 points and getting the same number of rebounds. Zohore has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 15.1ppg, 10.7rpg, 1.5apg and 1.2spg. Zohore has a dual citizenship: Danish and Ivorian.

   #2. Bazoumana Kone (193-G-93, college: Bremerhaven, currently plays in Germany) managed to help Basketball Loewen Braunschweig in a victory against the 11th-ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (10-11) 104-94 in the German BBL on Saturday night. He scored only 4 points in 14 minutes. Basketball Loewen Braunschweig (8-7) is placed fourth in the BBL. Kone has averaged so far 5.5ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.4apg in 17 games he played so far. He is another player who holds two passports: Ivorian and German.

   #3. Samuel Amed Diomande (193-G-88, currently plays in Norway) was not able to help Ammerud Bskt in their game against Gimle BBK (22-5) in the Norwegian BLNO. Diomande recorded 7 points in 23 minutes. Ammerud Bskt was crushed 117-63 on the road by the second-ranked Gimle BBK. Diomande is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fifth year in Ammerud Bskt's roster. This season he has relatively solid stats: 15.0ppg, 4.2rpg, 3.0apg and 1.8spg in 24 games. Diomande has both Norwegian and Ivorian nationalities.
