   #1. This week's number one is an international point guard Jean-Francois Kebe (185-94, currently plays in France). He led Saint-Quentin to a 3-point victory against the seventh-ranked SO Maritime Boulogne (8-8) 74-71 in the French NM1 (third division) in Friday night's game. Kebe recorded 13 points and added 3 passes. Saint-Quentin Basket-Ball (15-1) is placed second in Group A. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. This season Kebe averages: 5.9ppg, 2.0rpg, 2.5apg, 2FGP: 48.8%, 3FGP: 25.0% and FT: 55.6%. He is currently a member of the Ivorian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international swingman Guy Landry Edi (202-88, agency: Promotex, college: Gonzaga, currently plays in FIBA Europe Cup). Edi could not help Joensuun Kataja (1-1) to beat Bakken (1-1). He scored 8 points in only 14 minutes. The third-placed Joensuun Kataja (1-1) lost 89-104 on the road to the second-ranked Bakken in the group L of FIBA Europe Cup. It was Joensuun Kataja's third consecutive loss in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the FIBA Europe Cup Second Stage. So now every game will be critical. It's Edi's first season with the team. This year Edi's overall stats are: 7.8ppg, 5.8rpg, 2FGP: 26.7% and FT: 91.7% in four games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Ivorian and French. Edi is in the roster of the Ivorian senior national team.

He contributed to Souffelweyersheim's victory against the third-ranked Saint Vallier (10-6) 78-64 in the French NM1 (third division) on Saturday night. Bah recorded 9 points. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in Group A. BC Souffelweyersheim (15-1) is placed first. It was his team's 13th consecutive victory in a row. Bah has relatively good stats this season: 11.2ppg, 5.6rpg, 1.4apg, 1.4bpg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 57.6%(72-125), 3FGP: 11.1% and FT: 76.3%. He played for the Ivorian national team one years ago.

Forward Tiegbe Bamba (204-91, college: Portland St., currently plays in Iceland) led Grindavik to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked IR (4-7) crushing them 101-76 in the Icelandic Dominos League in Wednesday night's game. Bamba had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 14 rebounds in 28 minutes. U.M.F. Grindavik (5-2) is placed second in the Dominos League. Bamba has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 17.4ppg, 9.7rpg, 2.3apg and 1.1spg in seven games. Bamba is another player who holds two passports: Ivorian and French. He is also Ivorian national team player.

International swingman Vafessa Fofana (198-92, currently plays in France) led Nantes to a victory against the 15th-ranked Quimper UJAP (3-7) 76-68 in the French ProB (second division) last Saturday. Fofana scored 12 points and added 5 assists. Hermine Nantes Atlantique (4-6) is placed ninth in the ProB. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Fofana's total stats this year are: 7.5ppg, 5.0rpg, 2.7apg and 1.5spg. He plays currently for the Ivorian national team.

An experienced center Mohamed Kone (211-81, college: Valparaiso, currently plays in France) contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Caen (2-9) 96-81 in the French ProB (second division) in Saturday night's game. Kone scored 12 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Jean D'Arc Vichy Clermont Metropole (8-3) is placed third in the ProB. But the season just started, so everything may happen. Kone's total stats this year are: 8.9ppg, 8.9rpg and 1.2spg. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Ivorian National Team roster.

International point guard Bryan Pamba-Juille (184-92, currently plays in France) managed to help Chorale de Roanne Basket in a victory against the closely-ranked Entente Orleans 45 (8-3) 82-69 in the French ProB (second division) last Friday. Pamba-Juille scored only 4 points in 9 minutes on the court. It was his first game for Chorale de Roanne this season. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. His team is placed first in the ProB. It was Chorale de Roanne's third consecutive victory in a row. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. Pamba-Juille is also Ivorian national team player.

   #8. Center Aboubacar Aboubacar Hima (207-94, currently plays in Spain) was not able to help Carramimbre in their game against Oviedo CB (9-5) in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division). He cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. Aboubacar Hima scored only 2 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Carramimbre was defeated 78-68 on the opponent's court by the higher-ranked Oviedo_CB (#5). Aboubacar Hima's total stats this season are: 3.8ppg and 4.0rpg. He used to play for the Ivorian national team last year.

International center Bali Coulibaly (199-95, currently plays in France) contributed to a 3-point La Rochelle's victory against the 12th-ranked Lourdes-Tarbes (4-10) 87-84 in the French NM1 (third division) in Saturday night's game. Coulibaly recorded 10 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 19 minutes. Stade Rochelais Basket (8-8) is placed eighth in Group B. This year Coulibaly has relatively solid stats: 11.0ppg and 4.1rpg in 15 games. He is also in the roster of the Ivorian national team.

Forward Moussa Kone (203-93, college: Hofstra, currently plays in Spain) contributed to a Palencia Baloncesto's victory against the 13th-ranked Araberri (5-9) 92-87 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) last Friday. Kone scored only 2 points. Chocalates Trapa Palencia (11-3) is placed second in the LEB Gold. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Kone's total stats this season are: 6.1ppg and 4.4rpg. He has both American and Ivorian nationalities. Kone is a former international player as three years ago he still played for the Ivorian senior national team.


The list of other players, who all have Ivorian passport but never been selected to any of Ivorian national teams:

   #1. Mohamed Bamba (211-F-98, college: Texas, currently plays in NBA). He could not help the Orlando Magic (14-19) to beat the San Antonio Spurs (19-16). Bamba recorded 7 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks in 26 minutes. The Orlando Magic (14-19) was crushed 129-90 on the road by the Spurs. It was Magic's fourth consecutive loss in a row. It's Bamba's first season with the team. This year he averages: 6.4ppg, 4.7rpg, 1.1apg and 1.3bpg in 32 games he played so far. Bamba has a dual citizenship: Ivorian and American. Despite his Ivorian passport, Bamba previously played for the USA U18 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Ivorian team.

   #2. Experienced Alain Koffi (207-C-83, agency: BeoBasket, currently plays in France) was not able to help Gravelines-Dunkerque in their game against Pau-Lacq-Orthez (7-8) in the French ProA. He scored 7 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Gravelines-Dunkerque was crushed 80-52 on the opponent's court by the lower-ranked Pau-Lacq-Orthez (#10). It was Gravelines-Dunkerque's first loss after three consecutive victories. It's Koffi's first season with the team. Koffi has relatively good stats this year: 11.2ppg, 5.6rpg and 1.1apg. He is another player who holds two passports: Ivorian and French.

   #3. Jonas Bergstedt (210-C-91, currently plays in Hungary) was the major contributor in a 3-point TF Budapest's victory against one of league's weakest teams Szedeak (2-9) 60-57 in the Hungarian A Division on Saturday night. Bergstedt had a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting the same number of rebounds in 37 minutes. Tehetseges Fiatalok Budapest (1-10) is located at the very bottom in the A Division. Bergstedt has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 16.8ppg, 11.8rpg and 1.3apg in six games. Bergstedt has both Danish and Ivorian nationalities.

   #4. Bazoumana Kone (193-G-93, college: Bremerhaven, currently plays in Germany) managed to help Basketball Loewen Braunschweig in a victory against the 11th-ranked ratiopharm Ulm (5-6) 82-77 in the German BBL on Wednesday night. Kone scored only 2 points in 9 minutes on the court. Basketball Loewen Braunschweig (5-4) is placed fourth in the BBL. This year Kone's total stats are: 2.2ppg and 2.3rpg in six games. He also holds two passports: Ivorian and German.
