The third-placed Joensuun Kataja was badly defeated 81-65 on the road by the much lower-ranked (#28) Dnipro in the group L of FIBA Europe Cup. It's Edi's first season with the team. This year Edi averages: 7.5ppg, 7.5rpg, 3FGP: 33.3% and FT: 83.3% in two games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Ivorian and French. Kone had a double-double by scoring 10 points and getting the same number of rebounds. He also added 3 blocks in 23 minutes. They ended the series of three consecutive victories. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. This year Kone's overall stats are: 6.0ppg, 4.7rpg, 2FGP: 54.0% in 10 games.
