CHARLES ABOUO

ADA Blois Basket 41 (ProB) signed 28-year old American (has also Ivorian passport) swingman Charles Abouo (196-89, college: BYU). He will still stay in France where he played last season at Fos-Provence. In 40 ProB games in France he had 12.3ppg, 4.5rpg, 2.5apg and 1.7spg. Abouo also spent pre-season at Denain Voltaire that year.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he played in the final of Spanish LEB Gold Play-Off in 2014. Abouo was also voted Asia-Basket.com All-Qatar D1 Defensive Player of the Year in 2016.
He represented USA at the Afrobasket Championships in Abidjan (Ivory Coast) five years ago. Abouo's team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 7 games: 6.3ppg, 2.7rpg, FGP: 42.1%, 3PT: 36.4%, FT: 40.0%.
Abouo has played on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Africa and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Spain (Magia Huesca and Palencia Baloncesto), Egypt (Al Gezira) and Qatar (Al Khor).
Abouo attended Brigham Young University until 2012 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player.
