Abidjan Basket Club adds Yahaya to their roster, ex Rivers Hoopers

Abdul Yahaya

Abidjan Basket Club (National 1H) added to their roster 30-year old Nigerian international forward Abdul Yahaya (203-90). He played last season at Rivers Hoopers in Nigerian DStv PBL. In two Africa Basketball League games he recorded very impressive stats: 20.5ppg, 6.5rpg and 2.0apg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Yahaya won Nigerian Premier League championship title for two years in a row (2016 and 2017). He was also voted Afrobasket.com All-African Champions Cup Honorable Mention between 2016 and 2017.
Yahaya represented Nigeria at the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast (Australia) two years ago. His stats at that event were 4 games: 4.0ppg, 1.8rpg.
Yahaya has played also professionally for other Nigerian teams like Kano Pillars, Dodan Warriors Lagos, Gombe Bulls, Kada Stars and Mark Mentors.
