Flammes sign a second import player

FATIMATOU SACKO

Flammes Carolo Basket Ardennes (LFB) inked experienced 34-year old Guinean ex-international forward Fatimatou Sacko (183-85). She is the second import player in the roster as Italian Giorgia Sottana signed here earlier.
Sacko is a well-known player in French LFB as she played most recently at Union Lyon Basket Feminin in the LFB. In 24 games she recorded 6.6ppg and 3.3rpg last season. Sacko helped them to win the LFB title. She also played 10 games in Eurocup where she averaged 4.3ppg, 1.9rpg and 1.9apg.
The previous (17-18) season Sacko played at Lattes Montpellier. In 23 games she had 9.2ppg, 5.6rpg and 1.0apg. She also played 8 games in Euroleague where she got 8.1ppg and 5.1rpg.
Among other achievements Sacko received Eurobasket.com All-French LFB Honorable Mention award back in 2014. She was a member of Guinean Senior National Team two years ago.
Sacko has spent her entire career in France playing for three other teams: Tarbes, Villeneuve D'Ascq and Centre Federal BB.
