Fatimatou Sacko joins Lyon

Union Lyon Basket Feminin (LFB) agreed terms with 33-year old Guinean international forward Fatimatou Sacko (183-85). She moved there from played at Lattes Montpellier Agglomeration Basket in the LFB where she played this season. In 23 games she had 9.2ppg, 5.6rpg and 1.0apg. The last season Sacko played also at Lattes Montpellier. In 21 games she recorded 9.8ppg, 4.2rpg and 1.6apg. She helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. Sacko also played 13 games in Euroleague where she averaged 9.8ppg, 5.9rpg and 2.2apg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others she was voted Eurobasket.com All-French LFB Honorable Mention back in 2014. Sacko has been regularly called to Guinean Senior National Team since 2017.
She has spent her entire career in France playing for three other teams: Tarbes, Villeneuve D'Ascq and Centre Federal BB.
