Breakers ink Colton Iverson

New Zealand Breakers (NBL) agreed terms with 31-year old American (has also Bissau-Guinean passport) center Colton Iverson (212-116kg-89, college: Colorado State, agency: Pensack Sports). He played last season at Zenit in Russian VTB league, but left the team in Jul.'20. In 26 Euroleague games he had 5.6ppg, 4.6rpg and 1.0apg. Iverson also played 11 games in VTB United League where he recorded 7.9ppg, 4.4rpg and 1.2apg.
The previous (18-19) season he played at CB Canarias (Spanish Liga Endesa) in Spanish league. In 35 games he averaged 11.3ppg and 7.0rpg (#3 in the league). Quite impressive season as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish Liga Endesa 2nd Team. Iverson also played 19 games in Basketball Champions League where he got 10.7ppg, 6.2rpg and 1.2apg. He helped them to make it to the final. It was another spectacular season as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Basketball Champions League 2nd Team and League Player of the Week.
In 2013 Iverson was drafted by Indiana Pacers (NBA) in second round (53rd overall). He attended Colorado State and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball.
Iverson has played also professionally in Israel (Maccabi Fox Tel-Aviv), Turkey (Pinar Karsiyaka and Besiktas) and Spain (Baskonia and Andorra).
Iverson was voted All-MWC Newcomer of the Year back in 2013 at his college time.
