Zenit sign a second foreign player

Zenit Sankt Petersburg (VTB) landed 33-year old American (has also Bissau-Guinean passport) shooting guard K.C. Rivers (196-98kg-87, college: Clemson). He is the second foreign player in the roster as Canadian Kevin Pangos signed here earlier.
Rivers played most recently at Zalgiris in Lithuanian LKL league. He managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In 13 LKL games he averaged 9.1ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.6apg. Rivers helped them to win the cup and end the regular season at the top position. It was a very successful season in his career as he was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Lithuanian LKL Honorable Mention. Rivers also played 18 games in Euroleague where he had 9.3ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.1apg. The other team Rivers played that season for was Real Betis (Spanish Liga Endesa) in Spanish league. In 9 games he recorded 10.1ppg, 2.4rpg and 2.2apg.
Rivers is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in France (Chorale de Roanne), Germany (Bayern Muenchen), Greece (Panathinaikos), Italy (Benetton Treviso and Grissin Bon RE), Serbia (Crvena Zvezda), Spain (Real Madrid), Russia (Lokomotiv) and NBA G League (Stockton Kings).
Rivers attended Clemson University until 2009 and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
