Accra Technical University (ATU) and Takoradi Technical University (TTU) will compete for titles in the Ghana Universities / Polytechnics Sports Association (GHATUSA) Games Basketball Finals this weekend in the Men's and Women's Divisions respectively.

The final games come off this weekend on Saturday, February 9 at ATU's Court in Tudu with the Women's Division Final scheduled for jump ball at 7:00 GMT with the Men's Division set to be played at 9:00 GMT.

ATU is the defending champion in both divisions and beat Sunyani Technical University (STU) 29-20 in the Men's semifinal while its female team had a walk over win over Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) to make the finals.

Takoradi Technical topped KsTU 52-23 in the semifinals and its female side clinched a 24-10 win over Koforidua Technical University (KTU) in the Women's semifinal. Both institutions have dominated the tertiary sect for several years and the double header increases the level of dominance.

Earlier today, STU clinched third place in the Male Division with a close 25-24 win over KsTU and KTU beat KsTU 23-7 to win bronze in the Women's Division. This year's GHATUSA Games are due to end on Sunday, February 10.

The top four teams in the Male Division are expected to compete in the UPAC Championship early next month.
