Ghana Combo Forward Ben Bentil extended his double double production run for the second consecutive week by registering 18 points and 10 rebounds for Peristeri GS in the Greece A1 Basketball League.

Peristeri lost 69-92 to giant Olympiakos in Round 10 of the 2018-2019 League campaign in what is Persiteri's second loss this season in 10 games. The loss keeps the recently promoted club in third place in the standings.

Bentil has been in improved form on the defensive end grabbing double digits in rebounds in back to back games. In his team's 74-71 win over Pananios, he grabbed 10 rebounds and his latest production had him collect three on the offensive end and seven on the defensive side.

Ben Bentil scored the most points in the game and this is his season high since joining the team in early September after getting released from Spanish side RetaBet Bilbao Basket. This is his first season in Greece and second in Europe since getting drafted 51st overall in the 2016 NBA Draft by Boston Celtics.

He spent the first half of last season in France with Champagne Charlons-Reims after becoming the first Ghana born player to play in the NBA following his ten day stint with Dallas Mavericks. Bentil has had stints with Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the NBA Gatorade League and Chinese League.

Panathinaikos leads the 14 team league with a perfect record of nine wins in nine games and in second place is Olympiacos with nine wins in ten games and is coached by former Cleveland Cavaliers Coach David Blatt.
