Adabraka CYO has qualified to the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men's Division I after topping the just ended Division II campaign. The shortened season had just nine rounds played and CYO won in each round to progress to the elite division without a loss.

The team confirmed its qualification by beating Junior Reformers 91-50 in the penultimate game of the season at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu. CYO's win was its ninth in as many games maintained its position at the summit of the ten team standings from start to finish.

CYO scored the most points (653) in the league but missed out on the highest mark in a league game by ten points. The highest mark recorded in the season was set by Tudu Galaxy in a 101-56 win over Teshie Rangers.

Teshie Rangers caused a stir following the Week 3 loss to Galaxy s the side officially withdrew from the league thus forfeiting the remaining games. Prior to the withdrawal, Rangers had lost twice before the humiliating loss to Galaxy.

Veteran side Panthers ended up in second place tied on 15 points with Galaxy but a superior goal difference put Panthers ahead of Galaxy. Adenta Tusk finished fourth also with 15 points and one ahead of Dunk Knights.

Swanlakers ended its disappointing run with two wins and seven losses including the final day 59-69 loss to Adenta Tusk.
