Newly promoted London City Royals (BBL) landed 30-year old former British international forward Matthew Bryan-Amaning (205-109kg-88, college: Washington). He has a double citizenship as he also holds Ghanian passport. Bryan-Amaning was about to sign at Al Rayyan in Qatari D1 league. The last season he was tested by Al Shamal (also in D1). Bryan-Amaning also played for Defensor (LUB) in league where in three games he averaged impressive 16.0ppg, 6.0rpg, 2.3apg, 1.3spg and 1.0bpg. Bryan-Amaning also spent pre-season at Boca Juniors (LigaA) in Argentinian league.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2014.
Among other achievements Bryan-Amaning received Latinbasket.com All-Mexican LNBP Player of the Year award and Latinbasket.com All-Mexican LNBP Import Player of the Year award in 2015 and 2016.
He also represented United Kingdom at the Qualifications to European Championships 2015 four years ago.
Bryan-Amaning is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in nine different countries playing on four different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Bryan-Amaning has played previously professionally in France (Olympique Antibes and SO Maritime Boulogne), Germany (EnBW Ludwigsburg), Japan (Fukuoka Rizing), Serbia, Turkey (Hacettepe), United Kingdom (London Lions), Dominican Republic (Soles de Santo Domingo), Mexico (Soles) and Argentina (San Lorenzo).
He attended University of Washington until 2011 and it is his eighth season in pro basketball.
Let's have closer look into Bryan-Amaning's outlook: A native of England with Ghana origins, who could become one of the next college ball stars. Now, he's 6'9" with a wingspan of 7'4" wide. Runs and rebounds well. He can play both the forward positions, because he's really athletic, with good post moves and is working to his outside threat.

London City Royals roster for 2018-2019:
