Tema Youth Basketball Club has raced to clinch first place in the 2018 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men's Division I two games into the 2018 season. The team has won two in a pair of games played thus far in the campaign.

After topping Fire Service 71-60, the perennial second placed team beat DC Dynamics 64-55 to maintain its flawless start to this season. The remaining teams fall lower due to either playing fewer games or not playing any at all.

Defending champions Braves of Customs just completed its game against Navy Warriors which ended 48-36 for Braves before the table was put together. This was Braves first game in the season.

Ghana Police, Tudu Magic and Reformers of Prisons follow in second, third and fourth place respectively after winning their only game played this season. After losing two straight games, Dynamics lie fifth with two points and its goal difference is worse than the above mentioned trio.

Fire Service, Navy Warriors and Adenta Leopards follow suit with Braves in last place. However, Braves 12 point win over Warriors will see them move up the standings in the updated standings. Later tonight, Tudu Magic is up against Prisons while Fire Service plays Leopards.

In the Women's Division, Tudu Galaxy's better goal difference separates the side from Prisons and Fire Service who also have three points with Police and Customs on two points after winning its sole played this season. Dunks Basketball Club is ranked last after losing two games.
