The semi professionalism in Gabon

The Gabonese Federation Basketball (FEGABAB) announced the public start of the Basketball Championship semi -professional for the 2015-2016 sports season .
Also, a National Basketball League was created Saturday, December 26, 2015 in Libreville by a Constitutive Assembly.

After a call for applications was launched for the election of the President of the National Basketball League according to the following program :
-Sunday December 27, 2015 at midnight: Opening Campaign
-Saturday January 9, 2016 at midnight: Date folder dropoff to FEGABAB
-Friday January 15, 2016 at midnight: End of Campaign

Three candidates were in the race: ASSEKO Willy Conrad, KOMBILA Guy and AMBOUROUET ONANGA Felix.

The AMBOUROUET ONANGA Felix candidate was elected by the delegates to the federal score of 14/18 or 77.2 %.

He will be responsible for driving the first National League for 4 years (2016 to 2020).
